We flew out today to New England for the Seacoast Half Marathon that takes place on Sunday. We are staying with Colleen's mom (Grandma Woods!)
At the airport, Avery entertained an 8 month old at the boarding gate by singing BINGO song at the top of her lungs!
We flew up on JetBlue which is great when you have a kid because they can watch TV and keep themselves entertained. (plus a free checked bag per person too).
Avery has a lion travel pillow and looked like a seasoned traveler
Colleen sat in the row behind us (2 seats per row so we had to split it up)
Unfortunately the airport at Reagan National got backed up even though the weather was perfect for flying, we had an hour wait in line to take off. This picture with the planes lined up behind us (and the Washington Monument too!) shows it well!
Once we took off the flight was great, including a postcard-like view of NYC and Manhattan
Once we landed we went to one of our favorite places in Manchester NH, Margaritas mexican restaurant
Avery loves Grandma's little doggie Bella
In fact she's obsessed with her!
We have a lot planned this weekend besides just the race, we're going to Red Hook brewery to get one of Jim's favorite beer right on tap (Red Hook ESB), eat at Petey's (where we had our rehearsal dinner over 4 years ago), and spend time at the Seacoast here since Sunday and Monday should be warm and pleasant!
