Avery's Nursery

We have almost completed Avery's nursery!  Her theme is a garden theme, using green and pink, with flowers, etc.

The crib, changing table, and chest of drawers was the same one Jim used when he was a baby!  His siblings and his nieces all used it too.  We measured the crib dimensions, slats, etc and it meets current safety standards, so it was a good re-use for us.

The flower on the wall is a night light that has a neat glow when it's on.  Jim added the white chair rail around the room.  The chair and ottoman both rock / glide, it's really comfortable!  We still have to put up the curtains in the room, they are on order from Pottery Barn Kids right now.

You can also see she is slowly building up clothes and other supplies in the closet.  (Jim built the lower set of shelves to match the upper set)
